Prelims have been terrible and I'm so tired :(
Got so bored and confused during history today I wanted to give up. And the next 2 days will be worse. Now I don't know if having crammed exams or long exams is a bigger problem.
Ahhhhhhhhh :(
Oh and I really want to be back on Facebook sigh

To everyone who feel like they are drowning in the stress, please hold on k! We've been through so much, this is the last lap! And u can pull through this guys! 10 yrs down the road this will just be a vague memory, and you will be at a point in your life where u understand that there are more meaningful things in life to work towards. So just persevere guys, and look forward to a life beyond As :)
To my dear friend, be strong

Went to this church near my house for service today, and i think ill be going there for awhile, maybe till As are over... Really enjoy the service there, and it never fails to strike a chord with me by urging and reminding me to bring my struggles to God :)
I think the stress that everyone is facing is really getting to us, such that we lose sight of what's important. For Christians, I think despite saying rhetorically that God and His purpose is the most important, when it comes down to our lives we are no different from the world, living with despair as though we were not saved and no one ever came down to die for us to give us a new chance at life. So I guess esp in these tough times, It's really how we live that will set us apart. And when the environment is gloomy and dark, all the more your light can shine brightly. And that's why I thank God that despite the exams not being very smooth and that I've been thrown into disarray many times, God has still pulled me back and guarded my heart, armouring it with peace and assurance. If the God that promises to walk with me through everything is the same God that created this world and my tiny brain, and wrote the world's history before it came into being, what is there to fear about some questions testing my knowledge and how much of this amazing world history I can remember? in a sense studying history, current affairs, things in the economy, just highlights the wonders that God has created. And all these he created from nothingness. So I guess there's value in studying, and a purpose rooted in admiration for God.
the amount of anxiety and stress that exams bring to us, is a reflection of how much value we place on it. If we value God's work and pleasing God above all else, wouldn't the fact that we are living in darkness and despair worry us profusely? Much more than an economic framework or history fact? Yet i guess if all we can think and feel and worry about is the big A, that just shows maybe our values are.not rightly placed.
I'm not saying we don't study, u had better Haha. But in an environment when everyone is mad studying and stressing out, are u studying for God?
